Before you beginPlease note the following information before you install, upgrade or remove FOLIO: - You must have the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Please check the Supported Platforms to ensure your version of JIRA supports the FOLIO version to be installed.
- Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 9 or higher are supported.
- FOLIO is available in English and French. More languages will be supported in future releases.

FOLIO will add additional tables to your JIRA database. Enabling or disabling FOLIO within your installed plugins will not cause any damage to your JIRA data. |
Installing FOLIO- Log into JIRA as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Find new add-ons link on the left navigation bar. Featured plugins available for JIRA will be shown.
- Type 'FOLIO' in the search field and hit Enter. The FOLIO plugin will appear in the results.
- Click the Manage button. A confirmation message and the plugin details will be displayed when FOLIO is installed.

Manually installing FOLIO- Download a FOLIO installation (.obr) file from the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Log into JIRA as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed.
- Click the Upload add-on link and select FOLIO's installation file you have previously downloaded.
- Click the Upload button. A confirmation message and the plugin details will be displayed when FOLIO is installed.
Editing your FOLIO LicenseTo enter your FOLIO License details: - Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed.
- Click the FOLIO section to expand it.
- Paste your license into the License Key field and click Add.

You can copy your FOLIO license from https://my.atlassian.com, where you can either generate a new Evaluation License Key or retrieve your old License Key if you already have one. |

| If you need to change your FOLIO license details at any time in the future, please refer to Specifying your License Details. Please note that if you are using a commercial (i.e. not an evaluation) license for FOLIO then it must match your JIRA's license. For example, if you have a JIRA 25 User Commercial license you must have a FOLIO 25 User Commercial license. FOLIO evaluation licenses do not need to match JIRA licenses. |
To upgrade FOLIO: - Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.

- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed.
Click the FOLIO section to expand it. Click the 'Update' button.
Disabling FOLIO To disable FOLIO: - Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed.
- Click the FOLIO section to expand it.
- Click the Disable button.
