Before you beginPlease note the following information before you install, upgrade or remove FOLIO: - You must have the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Please check the Supported Platforms to ensure your version of JIRA supports the FOLIO version to be installed.
- Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 9 or higher are supported.
- FOLIO is available in English and French. More languages will be supported in future releases.

FOLIO will add additional tables to your JIRA database. Enabling or disabling FOLIO within your installed plugins will not cause any damage to your JIRA data. |
Installing FOLIOInstalling FOLIO is no different then installing any other JIRA plugin (see Managing JIRA's Plugins). Instructions vary depending on JIRA and the UPM versions you have:- Log into JIRA as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Find new add-ons link on the left navigation bar. Featured plugins available for JIRA will be shown.
- Type 'FOLIO' in the search field and hit Enter. The FOLIO plugin will appear in the results.
- Click the Manage button. A confirmation message and the plugin details will be displayed when FOLIO is installed.

| Manually installing FOLIO- Download a FOLIO installation (.obr) file from the Atlassian Marketplace.

Editing your FOLIO LicenseTo enter your FOLIO License details: - Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed (see Managing JIRA's Plugins).
- Click the FOLIO section to expand it.
- Paste your license into the License Key field and click Add.

Please note that if you are using a commercial (i.e. not an evaluation) license for FOLIO then it must match your JIRA's license. To upgrade FOLIO: - Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the 'Administration' link on the top bar to open the JIRA administration console.
- Select 'System > Plugins' to open the 'Universal Plugin Manager'. The 'Universal Plugin Manager' will be displayed, showing the plugins installed on your JIRA instance.
- On the 'Manage My Plugins' tab, check the 'Available Updates' section and locate 'FOLIO'Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed.
Click the FOLIO section to expand it. Click the 'Update' button.
Disabling FOLIO To disable FOLIO: - Log in as a user with the 'JIRA System Administrators' global permission.
- Click the 'Administration' link on the top bar to open the JIRA administration console.
- Select 'System > Plugins' to open the 'Universal Plugin Manager'. The 'Universal Plugin Manager' will be displayed, showing the plugins installed on your JIRA instance.
- Click the 'Manage Existing' tab. The plugins currently installed in JIRA will be displayed.
- Click the FOLIO plugin. The details for the FOLIO plugin will display.
- Click the 'Disable' Add-ons item in the cog menu at the top right.
- Select the Manage add-ons link on the left navigation bar. The Universal Plugin Manager page will be displayed.
- Click the FOLIO section to expand it.
- Click the Disable button.
