One Interesting FOLIO feature id the Multi-Selection option. In Budget and Actual this Folio and Portfolio screens that allow you to select any positions or expenses and FOLIO will display the selection summary explore Costs, Revenues and Team Members also let you select multiple elements at once to display group information in the details panelIn the budget page this will summarized . For instance, selecting multiple Expenses and Positions in the Planned Costs shows a summary of the total planned value of the selected items. In the Actual page this will summarize the total cost up to date of the selected items. You may also by pressing "d" delete all selected items. Selecting multiple ungrouped expenses or positions (i.e. expenses or positions that are not adjacent to each other) — Hold down 'CTRL' (or 'command' for mac Selecting multiple items To select non-adjacent items, hold down the CTRL (Command for Mac users) on your keyboard and click items to select the desired expense or position.Selecting multiple grouped expenses or positions (i.e. expenses or positions adjacent to each other) — Click an expense or a position, hold down 'SHIFT' them. To select adjacent items, first click an item. Then hold down SHIFT on your keyboard and click another expense or position above or below the first one. All expenses or positions between and including the expense or position you clicked will be selected.Multiple selection can also be done by clicking an expense or a position,hold down 'SHIFT' and press "j' to select next item(s) or 'k' to select item to select all items between the item initially clicked and the one just clicked. You can also expand a selection by clicking an item, holding down SHIFT and then press j to select the next item or k to select the previous item(s) 
Deleting multiple itemsSelecting multiple items also allows you to delete them all at once. Select items to delete and them hit the d shortcut key to delete all selected items. A confirmation dialog will popup showing the number of items that are included in the selection and are about to be deleted. |
