Portfolio Forecast
The forecast screen is divided in two sections:
CurvesPlanned ValuePlanned Value curve illustrates the expenses that were budgeted during the project planning up to the planned date of completion. Actual CostActual Cost curve gives expenses that have really been incurred on the project so far. Future Known CostFuture Known Cost curve indicates expenses that will happen (recurrent expenses, future equipment that will be delivered shortly, etc.) up to the projected end date. Earned ValueEarned Value curve indicates how many earned value have been earned so far. Estimated CostEstimated Cost curve gives the estimated cost based on the Cost Performance Index (health section on overview screen Portfolio Overview). Estimated Earned ValueEstimated Earned Value curve gives the estimated values based on the Schedule Performance Index (health section on overview screen Portfolio Overview ). TodayToday's date. LegendClicking on the "Chart Legend" button will display it while clicking on the legend square will close it.

Behind scheduleAhead of scheduleShow / Hide Non Working DaysThe "Show Non Working Days" option display weekend days and other non working days on the chart. Show / Hide Project(s) VersionsThe "Show Project Versions" option display project Version you defined in JIRA. All versions from all projects included in the portfolio scope are displayed.
Forecast right panelDetailsThis section displays the Planned Value, the Actual Cost, the Earned Value as well as the team size on the current day. Forecast based on Schedule Performance IndexThis section compares the planned vs the projected end date and total cost. The 'Completion ratio at planned date' gives the estimated completion percentage at the planned end date based on the current trend (CPI). The 'Current Cost Performance Index (CPI)' gives the value of the CPI used to estimate the projected cost. Note that the Total Cost is the maximum value between the Estimated Cost (based on Cost Performance Index) and the total Future Known Cost. Cost SimulatorSee Cost Simulator page for more details. Point Selection DetailsThis section displays information for a specific point you select on the chart. The 'Completion ratio at selected date' gives the actual or estimated completion percentage of the project for a specific point you select.
