The forecast screen is divided in two sections:

The main screen that shows a visual image of the project progress advancement based on the project estimation.
The right side screen that details each point of the budget and actual costs curves and gives parallel information around those numbers.

Note that curves include detailed information for working days.

Curves

Planned values curve illustrates the expenses that were budgeted during the project planning up to the planned date of completion.

Actual costs curve gives expenses that were really incurred on the project.

Future known cost curve indicates expenses that will happen (recurrent expenses, future equipment that will be delivered shortly, etc.).

Earned values curve indicates how many earned value have been earned.

Estimated cost curve gives the estimated cost base on Cost Performance Index (health section on overview screen Portfolio Overview).

Estimated Earned values curve gives the estimated values based on Schedule Performance Index (health section on overview screen Portfolio Overview).

Today's date.

Zones

Contingency and / or management reserve.

Where the red zone starts, it indicates the planned end date.

Where the red zone ends, it indicates the estimated end date.

Where the green zone starts, it indicates the estimated end date.

Where green zone ends, it indicates the planned end date.

This section displays the Planned, Actual and Earned values up to the current day.

This section compares the end date and the total cost planned versus projected.

The 'Completion ratio at planned date' gives the estimated completion percentage at the planned end date.

Note that the total cost is the maximum value between the estimated cost (based on Cost Performance Index) and the total future known cost.

This section displays information for a specific point on the chart selected by the user.

The 'Completion ratio at selected date' gives the actual or estimated completion percentage of the project at the selected point.

Point selected - today or before	Point selected - in the future

Planned Value	Planned value for the selected point in time
Actual Cost	Actual cost for the selected point in time
Earned Value	Earned value for the selected point in time
Future Known Cost	Known cost for the selected point in time
Estimated Cost	Interpolated estimated cost for the selected point in time
Estimated Earned Value	Interpolated earned for the selected point in time
