In FOLIO, the worked hours is the regular hours that was spent working on items of the folio's scope. In association with the wages, they are be an essential part of the actual cost of the folio and therefore the health indexes.

The worked hours can either be:

Entered manually (see add, edit and delete worked hours)
Automatically computed based on the wage table
Synchronized with the JIRA worklogs
Will be driven by the member's logged work on the issues part of the folio's scope and within its time frame.

Since most of the timesheets add-ons such as Tempo, populate the JIRA worklogs, FOLIO is fully compatible with these add-ons.

Add Worked Hours

To add worked hours click on the "Add Worked Hours" button in the top right corner of the worked hours section located in the team member details.

Required Parameters
Date from	The start date of the working period Must be before the Date from and cannot be in the future
Date to	The end date of the working period Must be after the Date from and cannot be in the future
Worked hours	The hours worked between the date from and date to Must be greater than 0

If the worked hours are synchronized with the JIRA worklogs, you cannot add manually any worked hours. You can only edit the existing ones.

Edit Worked Hours

To edit worked hours click on the worked hours row itself of the worked hours table of the worked hours section located in the team member details.

Same rules apply than when adding worked hours.

In the case where the worked hours are based on the JIRA worklogs, only the worked hours can be updated. The periods are fixed and are weekly based.

Delete Worked Hours

To delete worked hours simply click on the "trash" icon on the row of the worked hours to be deleted in the worked hours table of the worked hours section located in the team member details.

It is not possible to delete worked hours based on the JIRA worklogs. You will need to enter a time of 0h if you want FOLIO to ignore the JIRA entries.
