Kitologic is proud to announce the release of FOLIO 3.6 enabling you to:

This release also includes a number of improvements and fixes.

Easily manage your Agile projects by transparently link a portfolio to an existing GreenHopper Board

Because yes, Agile projects also need care about money! Portfolios can now be transparently linked to your existing GreenHopper Boards, making it a pain-free process to keep track of costs and health of your Agile projects. This will allow you to avoid redefining the configuration parameters that are common to both add-ons such as the project scope, the non-working days, etc. Your earned values can therefore be based on classic Agile fields such as "Story Points" or "Business Value" and issue statuses that are considered "done" in GreenHopper will automatically be set to contribute to earned value in FOLIO.

Once your portfolio is bound to an Agile board, a clone of the JIRA filter associated with the board will be created for your portfolio. That way you will be free to share your portfolio filter as you like, allowing you to keep all that sensitive monetary information visible only to the people you choose. Other than visibility, the portfolio filter will always be kept synchronized with the cloned one. No need to worry about diverging scope between FOLIO and GH!

And this is just the beginning. More cool Agile features are on the way...

Spot budget cost overruns at a glance with the new Budget Variance report

The brand new Budget Variance report shows a comparison of planned and actual expenditures, grouped by the position titles and expense types you created. See the budget variance in a bar graph, then quickly navigate to the detailed expenditure information by clicking on the budget heading you want to investigate. This will allow you to see exactly what set of expenses are getting out of control. Its one more tool to discover the leaks in that little piggy of yours!

Of course, you can export the report data to a spreadsheet, so that you can get creative and dig into it the way you want.

Quickly see how your favorite indices behave with the new Indices report

Let the numbers speak! The new Indices report shows the evolution of your portfolio's EVM metrics over time. Compare all of them graphically, side by side, or focus on a subset. And finally export the data to Excel format and create all the metrics comparison charts you can think of!
