Folio Status

A Folio can have four different statuses: PENDING, EXECUTING, EXPIRED or CLOSED.  A Folio can have only one status at any given point in time. The current status of a Folio shows as a lozenge in the header, next to the Folio's dates.  The following table described each Folio status:

	Description	Why?
	The project has not started yet, it is in planning.	The start date of the Folio is set in the future.
	The project is currently in progress. The team is working on issues that are part of the Folio's scope	The start date of the Folio is set on or before today, the planned end date of the Folio is set on or after today.
	The project is currently finished, according to the plan.	The planned end date of the Folio is set in the past.
	The project is closed. Its state is frozen at close date.	The Folio has been explicitly closed by the Owner or an Administrator. This overrides any other status a Folio would have as determined by dates.
