Tempo Folio 7.3 Release Notes

Tempo Software is proud to bring you Tempo Folio 7.3 that will enable you to:

• Manage non-working days globally and flexibly by applying Tempo holiday schemes to your Folios and team members
• Let the weekly work schedule of your resources be driven by Tempo workload schemes
• Plan human resources as Capital expenditures
• See which folios are behind schedule directly from the portfolio overview page
• Audit global configuration changes

This release also includes a number of improvements and fixes

Folio is now a true member of the Tempo family! This release makes Tempo Folio work hand in hand with other Tempo products by integrating the Workload and Holiday Schemes. And this is only the first step towards total synergy... stay tuned!

To get to your Portfolios and Folios you now go through the Tempo menu (see below).

Manage non-working days globally and flexibly by applying Tempo holiday schemes to your Folios and team members

Tempo Folio introduces the possibility to use Tempo Holiday Schemes to determine the non-working days of resources of a Folio. This gives you two key advantages: to avoid duplicating the effort of defining non-working days if you are already using other Tempo products and to have a central point where to manage non-working days for all your Folios. This means no need to go through each Folio to add a new company holiday for instance.

On top of that, you can now define the non-working days per team member. This gives you a great new way to handle individual vacations!

Let the weekly work schedule of your resources be driven by Tempo workload schemes

You can now define weekly work schedules of your Folios using Tempo Workload Schemes. Simply configure your Folios to use one of your existing Tempo Workload Schemes and you're done. You can even specify a workload scheme per team member, letting you handle exceptional cases with great flexibility. Changing the weekly work schedule centrally for the company now becomes a trivial task.

Plan human resources as Capital expenditures

You could already track actual human resources cost as capital expenditures. Now you can plan these costs as capex as well. This allows you to build more detailed budgets by breaking down human resources costs further and get a more precise picture of planned and actuals in reports when comparing expenses by category.

See which Folios are behind schedule directly from the Portfolio overview page

An extra indicator has been added to the Portfolio overview page to let you know if any of the Folios it contains is behind schedule. This is especially useful for non-EVM Folios since they provide no Schedule Performance Indices to help you figure that out.

Audit global configuration changes

Tempo Folio Super admins can now consult the change history of the global configuration. Track changes to overtime rules, folio custom fields, default accounting settings, etc. To consult the global configuration's audit trail, log in as a super admin and go to the Add-ons page, then click the History item under the Tempo Folio menu section.
